July 15: Part 2 - Mijas and Milaga, Spain

Since I am not really good at blogging yet, and could not get the pictures to upload in the correct order (or reorganize them) - I had to break up this day.

After touring Alhambra - we ate at McDonald's and drove down the road to Milaga (on the coast where we were staying) and then drove up the hillside to Mijas for dinner.

Mc Donald's - some things are universal! The folks bought matching McDonald's baseball caps and wore them at lunch - so cute!

Arriving in Mijas

view of the city and coast below

The town is famous for their donkey taxis (insert donkey joke here)

The town is famous for their cave church - which is dedicated to the virgin Mary and some saint

Sheree and friend (again... feel free to insert your own caption here). Ironically, there was a sign that read to beware because the ass may be hot from the sun ;-)

Here the are waiting for passengers

ordering our dinner at the tables - which had a view of the cave church the ocean far below. We could here a processional band practicing during dinner somewhere in town

Just in case you weren't sure where we were...
